Tuesday being my day off was very quiet and I had the time to enjoy reading St Bonaventure whose feast we keep today. It is also St Swithun’s day and here at Sevenoaks we had no rain – is that promising?I was invited to share lunch with the Rector of St Nicholas here in Sevenoaks today. I really enjoyed the time with him and give thanks to God for his ministry in our town.
Roger has been organising Bible Study groups since 2001. At the end of each academic year he organises a BBQ for all participants. This was the 7th BBQ, which I think is biblically significant. The food was great, the wine good and the company superb – thank you Lindsay and Roger.
