The academic year is now truly open and this blog offers prayers and best wishes for all students and their teachers.

Work with our school and other schools is a priority here in our Parish. There is significant branching out with the Sevenoaks County Primary, it is all very exciting. I look forward to have the Year 6 classes in church more than once this year, and the whole school for their Christmas Service. I will be assisting the RE teachers in planning RE lessons and hope to be able to do some of the teaching myself.

In our school a new teacher was appointed yesterday for our Foundation class, and everything is ready for this new year. At our school the altar (a recent gift from CBS) is the centre of all worship sessions. Many thanks to Fr Mark, who also acts as school chaplain, for the photo he has taken and sent.
