Following on from the Festival of Hope and Light, today we kept Candlemass. Fr Peters was our preacher who spoke about different journeys coming together today and also moving forward. Our personal journeys meet with those of Joseph, Mary the child Jesus, Simeon and Anna in the Temple, our memories fresh from the joys of some 40 days ago and yet we get a glimpse of the journey ahead that will lead to the cross and beyond.

The forecasted snow arrived punctually during Mass. All at hospital are talking about the snow and what is forecasted. However, the snow did not deter our BOBs Youth Group from meeting tonight.
