The church being all prepared for Lent, we set off for another journey of hope and love in the footsteps of our Saviour.
Frances was already in church as I arrived and so I joined her in reciting Office of Readings and Lauds.
Fr Barry celebrated our Low Mass with imposition of Ashes. Frances took these pictures.
After Mass John took the blessed ashes to two nursing homes and I went to the hospital and those who receive communion at home.
There will be a further update today about the liturgies that we shall celebrate this afternoon and evening.
