Lent IV Refreshment and Mothering Sunday

The fourth Sunday in Lent was well attended today. The choir was in splendid form and their rendition of the Anthem "Come down O love divine" by Sir William Harris, was superb. After Communion posies of flowers, kindly donated and prepared by a faithful parishioner, were blessed and after placing the first one at the feet of Our Lady, people came up to take a flowers to honour mums.
After Mass, the High Altar carpet was removed in readiness for Passion Sunday and Parishioners folded leaflets about Holy Week that are to be distributed in the Parish.
This afternoon our youth group met for their monthly meeting and at 5pm we had another inspirational reflection in the series Lent with St Ignatius. The talk will be uploaded shortly.
