After a lovely supper the kids wrote their prayers and intentions for the pilgrimage and assembled for the first service where the saints were presented as they really are: heroes of the faith and examples to be followed. The kids were encouraged to pray and seek the intercession of Mary the Star of the Sea. Moving stuff indeed!
All repaired for hot choclate and now to bed.
