End of Academic Year

The day at St John’s today was dominated by saying farewell to the Year 6 pupils of our school and giving thanks to God for this academic year.

At 10.15am the school came to church to celebrate the School Mass animated and organised by Fr James. The organ was played by John Hendry (who today celebrates his birthday – Ad Multos Annos). The pupils were supported by a good number of parents and members of our congregation.

At the end of Mass Ms Henning presented the pupils of Year 6 with an autograph book and a dictionary/thesaurus donated by the Parish.

This evening the whole school offered an excellent rendition of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Ship Theatre (courtesy of our friends at Walthamstow Hall School). What stars! We are proud of all of you, well done to the pupils and the staff who enabled them to have this experience.
