General Synod
The bishop of Durham (who will relinquish his bishopric tomorrow) has just said that the day the Church stops listening to God and follows the powers of this world is the day when the Church ceases to be Church! Well done bishop - finally it has been said.

The crocodile tears of Dunelm and Nazir-Ali mean nothing, they did nothing, they contributed nothing, until their last gasps they were part of the problem.
He's right, of course. "Love not the world, nor anything that belongs to the world"; "my sheep will hear MY voice".
