It was great to see Canon Robin Ward SSC and his family for Mass this morning. Both Masses were well attended.
After the notices the new Walsingham Cell banner was blessed. This was a labour of love gifted to us by Fr Joseph M Zahra OP. Fr Joe, in his mid 30's, has already climbed many pulpits in Malta as he is a very sought after preacher. He designed and made the banner in his own cell as you can see from the pics below. (Can you spot his little green helper called Dawdu (Theodosius)?)This was a lovely ecumenical gesture from his part which is much appreciated by the Parish. It was great to hear all the positive comments after Mass. Thanks Fr Joe.
We are also getting ready for the ordination of Seminarian James Bradley to the Order of Deacons. This will take place in the Parish Church on Saturday at 3pm and all are welcome to attend. Please do keep the ordinand in your prayers during this week.
