Collision of Joys

The joy from yesterday’s ordination carried over to this morning. At the beginning of Mass Fr James made his declaration of Assent. His first sermon was great and well received by all. During Mass we celebrated the baptism of three regular young members of our congregation. At the conclusion of Mass, Fr James consecrated his ministry to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as he offered a silver heart to the image of Our Lady of Walsingham.
This afternoon we joined our Roman Catholic brothers and sisters at Kemsing to celebrate the life of St Edith of Kemsing. The Rosary was recited by her well and all assembled at a private garden for Benediction and a lovely tea. The day came to a great end as Claudia and I had the time to speak with Joanna Bogle of EWTN.
