Today we keep the feast day of St Cuthbert , Bishop of Lindisfarne. His name is part of the Christian inheritance of this nation and tied especially with Christianity in the North East where his remains rest in the magnificent Cathedral Church of Durham

His zeal towards Jesus and his dedication to the kingdom is inspiring. It has inspired generations of Christians and I hope that it will inspire many more.
My prayer is that he will intercede for James Bradley
Everything is ready for the Ordination Service, many people have worked hard for this significant moment in our wonderful parish – may God fill us all with his joy as we witness Him sending James to bring the light of the Gospel to his flock.
