Today we remembered the sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of all those who were caught up in conflict and paid the ultimate price.
We are very grateful to Colonel Jonathan Bourne of the Royal Gurkha Rifles who led our Act of Remembrance. Jonathan was confirmed here at St John's. His presence with us reminds us of those who dedicate their lives for our safety and for peace keeping. As we remember in prayer those who have died in both world wars and every conflict since, let us also remember those in active service today.
