This is an excerpt from Pope Benedict's prayer to Mary Immaculate yesterday, the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception:
"Instil in us the strength to reject evil in all its forms, and to choose the good, even when it is costly and involves going against the current. Give us the joy of feeling loved by God, blessed by Him, and predestined to be his children".
May it be our prayer also.
