School Visit

Fr Mark writes:
"Miss Mapp brought 14 members of the reception class from St John's School and a number of helpers to the Church to show the children around. As the pictures show we all had a look in the font and found out about salt being added to holy water. We then moved down to the altar before visiting the Blessed Sacrament chapel. The children looked closely at the stained glass windows because they are going to be making their own windows for the Parish Exhibition. During the visit we thought about the journey of faith and peoples different journeys. In particular we thought about St John the Baptist, our heavenly patron and his ongoing role in our own journey of faith."
