With all the work during Holy Week there was no time to mention one of the many things that Frances did in the sacristy. She skillfully turned an exisiting old safe into an aumbry for the reservation of the Holy Oils. The pictures above say it all. Well done Frances and thank you!

After the daily Mass I joined Fr Mark for his monthly communion service at Alpine House residential home (pictured below) here in the Parish. There was a good turn out and those present really appreciate the ministry of the church to them. The senior carers of the home are very keen for St John's involvement in their work. Fr Mark's hard work shows and we look forward to further develop the good and existing links.
