Office and Mass followed by hospital visit and home communions was the normal pattern for every Friday for Fr Mark and me.This afternoon we had the usual exposition which ended half an hour earlier with Benediction. This enabled us to go and wave good bye to the nine children from this Parish who are off for the children's week end pilgrimage in Walsingham. All the young pilgrims were given a Rosary to take with them, and they all wore it round their necks.
Michael and Amy are the leaders and Amy's dad is driving the Parish mini-bus. We heartily wish them a safe journey and a happy time in Walsingham.
After the departure of the Pilgrims Fr Mark and I returned to church and recited Vespers together.
