The Epiphany Bambino in the Holy Manger of Bethlehem

Epiphany has been celebrated in Bethlehem on Tuesday 6 January. Celebrations in the Palestinian City were subdued due to the current climate.
The Custos of the Holy Land, Fr Pierbattista Pizzaballa, arrived in Bethlehem and was solemnly received well before I Vespers. He presided over all the celebrations and after II Vespers took the Epiphany Bambino to the Manger accompanied by many priests and faithful. Three priests carry the three gifts which are placed in the manger as the Gospel of the Epiphany is sung.
May the Prince of Peace, grant peace to the Holy Land!
