O happy band of pilgrims!

We are just back from Walsingham, tired but refreshed. It was a great Parish Pilgrimage with time for prayer and enjoyment of each others company.
For this pilgrimage we were joined by Fr Craig Youg SSC from South Carolina and three of his parishioners. We also had two pilgrims who celebrated their birthday, Rob on Friday and Richard today!
Thanks to Janice for organising a wonderful pilgrimage and for all those in Walsingham who made us so welcome and offered us meaningful liturgies. It was good to see Bishop Lindsay in action from what we experienced this week end it promises a great future.

We met for prayers at the Slipper Chapel where we were met by Fr Alan, the new Shrine Director, just 24 hrs into his new post. Fr Alan gave us a very warm welcome and after leading us in prayer he gave us his blessing as we left reciting the Rosary for Church Unity along the Holy Mile.
