St Mary of Magdala

Mary of Magdala, the woman of faith, who loved so much and so much was to her entrusted. Mary of Magdala the woman that followed Jesus unto the cross. Who stood with Blessed Mary the New Eve and John the Divine in the place of shame, receiving insults from the passing crowds and the gathered mob and the blood of our Lord cascading down the wood of the cross.
Mary the Mystic from Magdala would we sit at your feet and learn!
Mary the Mystic from Magdala who stood in the Garden on the First Day of the Week, the First Day of the New Dispensation. Mary who on hearing the name recognised the New Creation. Mary, against the strict custom of the time, chosen to witness the mighty Resurrection. Mary the Mystric of Magdala whose feet are blessed as they carried the news of salvation and freedom to the nascent Church.
Mary the Mystic from Magdala would we sit at your feet and learn!
