Today I am at St Stephen's House in Oxford. This fine Seminary has formed countless Anglo-Catholic priests. This is a day when Parish Priests assemble to discuss with their new deacons to be and with staff at Seminary the way in which the transition from Seminary to Parish is to happen. In our tradition the year of the diaconate and the subsequent two years in Priesthood are a vital part in the formation of the priest and prepares him for the ongoing permanent formation.
Please keep in your prayers Seminarians and Seminaries asking God to give us holy priests.
