We give thanks to God for the great celebration in honour of St John the Baptist that we had yesterday.
Bishop Edwin Barnes led our celebration and gave an inspiring homily. We are truly grateful for his ministry and the care he takes in supporting the brethren in the faith.
The new Town Mayor was supported by various mayors from Kent; we wish him well now that he is surrounded by God’s blessing.
The orchestra and choir embellished our Mass. The servers did very well and looked great in their new cassocks and cottas.
Fr James worked hard especially in rehearsing servers. The catering team catered and the Sacristan could not have done a better job even if she wanted to – well done Frances!
