Last night we had another of our Credo 08 evenings. Fr Simon Heanes, Vicar of St Barnabas Beckenham and editor of the Church Observer was our speaker.

The article of the creed we looked at was the start of the thrid and final section: "I believe in the Holy Spirit". Fr Simon led us into prayer as we all sang the Veni Creator. He helped us reflect on the nature of the Holy Spirit, on His work, on the intimate relationship between the Son and the Spirit (Spirit Christology rather than Christology and Pneumatology as two different branches of study) and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Fr Heanes gave a very thoughtful theological reflection last night which enriched all those present. Fr Heanes gave handouts to all to enable the reflection to continue at home.
