On this wonderful feast day of Our Lady of the Rosary we shall have the public recitation of the Holy Rosary in Church. I will offer it for all those who read this blog.
This ancient prayer which started as the Psalter of those who could not read the breviary was championed by St Dominic of Guzman and preached by his Order. Saints down the ages have spoken of the efficacy of this biblical prayer and in the apparitions of Our Lady both at Fatima and Lourdes, Our Lady insisted on the faithful praying the Rosary. How good it is to carry with us our beads and use them, especially in families.
Enjoy this feast day, and do not forget to pray the Rosary today!

Dear Fr Aquillina,
Having been a frequent of your blog, I was wondering if perhaps you might due me the honour of featuring a reciprocal link to 'Thursday Thoughts' if it is something to your liking. In case you haven't viewed it, it is not a blog per se, but rather a collection of easily-searchable essays about culture, faith, and Common Sense from a Catholic Anglican editorial perspective (the editor is not an author, lest he be blamed of tooting his own horn).
I hope the site provides a valuable resource for you and other and I would appreciate any publicity (or essay submissions) you could offer.
Cheers,
Thurs.
