Dr Jim Packer was interviewed by Dr Stott. It was said that there is a need to reform the office of bishop on the lines of no jurisdiction but pastoral cares. There needs to be a structure that will check the oddities of these bishops. (What about the Pope?)
Dr Packer said that as the 39 articles specify our understanding of Scriptures and the Creed (do they?) so the Gafcon Jerusalem declaration establishes the faithful ones in the place where they need to stand.
